We went to our third dog hash on Saturday! It was located at Jalan Lam Sam, some forested area around Choa Chu Kang. Mom said she’ve seen pictures of previous hashes at Jalan Lam Sam so we were really hopeful on getting down and dirty. Unfortunately, the hash was really dry and we spent nearly 3/4 of the hash on the path.
Like every dog hash post, we’ll let the pictures do the talking!
We came to a point where we had to cross this plank. It was quite scary as the plank wasn’t very stable and the drop down could definitely cause some injuries. Mom crossed the plank while dad and us went down by the slope and up another slope to cross to the other side.
What was different about this hash was that we came across quite a number of stuff that the previous hashes didn’t have! We saw stuff like glass bottles, really big flower pots, chairs, and even shellscrapes! We overheard dad saying that it could be a possible training ground used by the army.
We even saw a metal hut and, correct us if we’re wrong, what we think might be a gathering point? We heard mom asking dad if the hut had guns and if they could go fight zombies. Seriously mom? You’re afraid when dad plays zombie games but you want to fight them? Right.
During the whole hash, we managed to only find one obvious muddy place to jump in. Mom said she spotted quite a number during the walks but it was by the side and was thankful that we didn’t notice. Y U NO TELL US?!
Even though the hash wasn’t that great this time round as we didn’t get dirty, the parents were glad that we stayed pretty clean and that they didn’t have to give us a bath when we got home. They decided that the bath can wait till the next day so we got to go to Sentosa on Sunday! We’ll be crossing our paws and hoping that the next hash will be really dirty and muddy.
