Over the weekend, we brought Lycan to go meet up with his furfriends at Happenstance cafe for a little gathering/Christmas lunch! Lexie had to stay at home because she’s in heat and a little feisty so it was safer to leave her at home. We arrived at about 12pm and Toby, Smallie and Tugger were already there. Not long after, Muffin & Pudding arrived followed by SirToby and Yoda & Vader. Humans had their lunch while the dogs went to play. Lycan didn’t get to run around much while we ate because he went around barking at every dog so we kept him by our side till we were free to watch him.

No food pictures because I was too hungry and started digging in before the thought of taking a picture hit me. After everyone was done, it was cake time for the dogs! We ordered two doggie log cakes from The Barkery because it won’t be Christmas without log cakes!

We TRIED taking group pictures with the cake.

We eventually gave up on trying to position them and someone suggested to do a group shot of the pups with the humans. Finally after all the photo taking, cake time!

Some happy pups after cake.

We sure had fun watching the dogs play and I bet Lycan had a ton of fun because there was so much food for him. Lycan even got presents to bring home to add on to the ones that were given to them at the DogsOfIGSg Christmas Party!

More treats from Sirtoby and Smallie’s owners even baked the humans gingerbread cookies!

We didn’t know what to get their friends for Christmas so I went online to do a little searching and found toys to make!

We decided on fleece rope toys because they’re durable and they look really pretty with mixed colors! And the best part? They don’t only work as toys, they can be worn as a scarf/collar like what Muffin is doing. 😛

Was kind of disappointed though that we couldn’t find more than three colors. Would be even lovelier if there were more colors to mix and match. But on a brighter note, I’ll be making more toys for them now rather than going out to buy. I don’t trust/give them rope toys either because they like to pull the strings out and I’ve heard stories about dogs dying from eating the strings so this is a better alternative to a rope toy as there aren’t strings for them to pull out.
Anyway, it’s Christmas eve and we hope everyone have a wonderful Christmas!

But please watch what you feed your dogs as some stuff can be poisonous and NO cooked bones!
Merry Christmas eve, everyone!

Love, Lycan and Lexie.
awesome pawesome! Great idea with the rope toys, how lasting are they you think?

Thanks! We made two small ones last Saturday and they’re still around. The true test would be Sirtoby and Tugger! They’re the main reason I wanted to do this. 😛

Hello Tugger. Good that it still works. I’ll make you more if it’ll help you stop destroying stuff. You have to know that the food is inside the toy, not the toy itself. But I guess chewing thru it is faster than waiting for it to slowly roll out.
